2013/14 Pre-season Friendly Thread

Wow I see your the expert and Raymond who has worked for city, barca chelsea isn't. Have you thought about applying to be part of moyes elite team?

Don't aim your rhetoric at me I'm just the pervayor of news n

Where did I claim to be an expert?

I'm pointing out it's no bad thing to get them training, it's not to anyones detriment as much as you want to make out it is, Van Persie s fine and was bought off as a precaution, it happens every year, it's PRE SEASON!!! They pick up knocks when they start playing competitively again, do you really need that explaining?

I aimed it at you because you're again the one trying to pick faults with your own team!

:(

and then another 2-3 weeks to get back up to match fitness, when he should have been fit and ready for the start of the season. Flippin idiots !!

exactly. what a ******* joke. sounds like he landed the same awkward way sandro did and we know what happened there! though it's an ankle problem not knee so keep the faith.

Could have been worse though, still starting the season with Kaboom (assuming he's fit enough) and daws/caulker isnt too bad.

Most experts are not so thick as to take "over-training" as enough information to attack a manager over an injury to one of his players. Is he on the United staff, was he at the training sessions watching how RvP is being worked. No. He's just a loud mouth who likes to spout rubbish about something he knows nothing about.

I am sure that he knows 10 times more than any of us about training elite athletes but find me a top class coach that works without knowing exactly what their athletes are doing day in day out at training along with their diet, rest etc and I will happily agree with you.

I can see why Fergie gave nothing to the press. As soon as you say anything it is mis-interpreted and used to paint you as having made a bad decision.

This afternoon's starting XI:

Blackman; Wallace, Cahill, Terry (c), Cole; Ramires, Chalobah, Van Ginkel; Moses, Ba, Hazard

No he was called a dinosaur because of his seemingly ott training or 'over training' as moyes called it.

The champs league bit wss just their to show his inexperience at the highest level of competition.

For the last couple of seasons we've not looked fit enough, struggling to get near teams and that was without us closing down.

If you want to make the players fitter, guess what you have to do?

Second half team:

Schwarzer; Ivanovic, Cahill, Kalas, Cole; Ramires, Essien, Van Ginkel; Traore, Lukaku, Hazard

Traore scores a cracker, 5-0. We're having a goal fest here. :D

Now Lukaku, 6-0.

Wonderful goal, Ramires, 7-0.

Easy, Lukaku, 8-0.

OG, Kalas, 8-1.
