Aimar was a little **** - he put in a sneaky stamp on Salif Diao many years ago and I've hated him since.

Coutinho looks to be a superb bargain, if he can play like he has so far for an entire season then Liverpool have a real diamond.

Yeah, he was absolute class. I remember Rafa Benitez's Valencia ripping us a new one in 2002, and he was at the heart of everything.

Coutinho's balance is just different level though, can't think of too many players like him.

There hasn't been many in the Premier League in recent seasons. Kagawa, Mata, Silva and Modric come to mind, Hazard and Ronaldo have/had exceptional balance but didn't really run at people in the same way Coutinho, Modric and Kagawa in particular do. Always incredible to watch when they take someone on.
 
Coutinho has magical feet but like I said earlier, it's not just what he does but the way he does it. It's too easy for him.

My love of Coutinho is worrying if I'm honest.
 
Kick off against Kitchee FC on the 'killer pitch' in 15 mins

Lineup is: Amos; Fabio, Smalling, M Keane, Evra; Zaha, Carrick, Cleverley, Anderson, Young; Welbeck.

Understandable that we're not playing RvP on that pitch! I might try and watch the first half
 
This is much more positive than previous games, a good pace to it.

I really like Zaha. Top finish from Welbeck too (perhaps this can become a common thing for him now :p).
