Good fixture list

For us Sept - Oct looks our most difficult period with Liverpool / City / Everton / Arsenal all close together as Champions League gets under way

Out of the top 4, Citeh seem to have the toughest run in and Arsenal have a good end to the season

Watford at home, not even Mr Unlucky could **** that up.

Watford
Southampton
Man City
Spurs
Chelsea

That's bottom 3 after 5 games.

Then October looks harsh ;)

Liverpool
Manu
Arsenal.

Is it normal for there not to be any games on Sunday until the last day?

It's only the last game of the season that is scheduled as a Sunday.

TV fixtures will be out soon so that will dictate the flow of fixtures. If I am not mistaken, the Premier League is moving to Friday night games also. I could be wrong on that though

Really tough start to the season for us. Ignoring Stoke away on the opening day, we've got Arsenal, Utd, Everton, Spurs, Chelsea and City all away (and Southamton at home for good measure) in the first 3 and a bit months.

I suspect that Rodgers future rests on how well we start the season and this has made it a lot tougher for him to keep his job.

anything that gets him out the door quicker is a bonus for me.

In the corresponding fixtures last season the opening 5 games this time around we picked up 5 points

Of course yeah, I forgot about the televised matches for a second then! I did hear about the Friday night games also, not sure if that has come in this year?

weird how the Utd games came out - both halves of the season top 5/6 competitors most are bunched together (apart from Chelsea at OT over Xmas, and then again early Feb at the Bridge)

If we are waiting for a certain manager to have his break before making our move then maybe it couldn't have worked out any better.
