2015 Acer X34 to LG 34GK950F upgrade?

Has any-one moved from an old X34 to an LG 34GK950F. I'm honestly getting sick of waiting for the 38" 175hz version and thinking of getting a LG 34GK950F, which will make full use of the latest DP and I won't have to turn things off as I will on the 38". I know I'm going to get another 44hz which will be nice but is there anything else that makes this monitor better than my old one, better panel? colours?

I'd wait for the 38" personally... I think you'd be disappointed with what amounts to more of a sidegrade than anything else. The extra 44Hz is nice, but for the price difference (i.e what your X34 would now get 2nd hand) I would not say it was worth it.

They were my thoughts that have had me holding off, I don't want the side grade effect, but if it was a better panel etc I may make the move. Thanks for the input

Don't, I've had both and whilst the LG was excellent it was just more of the same. Try to hold out dude, I think it'll be worth it

Looking at the other thread it's hard work holding out, even LG don't know :-(

Seriously though man it'll be worth it, had the 38UC99 and that was epic bar the refresh etc. I'm sure it'll be out before Xmas.
