***2015 Powerlifting Total Thread***

*** The Rules ***

The 2015 Powerlifting Totals table will be for lifts performed ONLY in 2015! Last years and subsequent years totals will be included in this thread for comparisons sake.

For those of you who have had massive changes in their training regimes over the years, I'll include a "Life Time PB Totals" list which is opt-in only - if you don't explicitly ask to be included in this you won't be. Let's face it, most people's personal best will be their current one.

  • State your 1RM (one rep max) for the 3 big lifts in Kilos. Preferably using a normal Olympic 20kg barbell.
    1. Bench
    2. Squat
    3. Deadlift
  • State your bodyweight in Kilos.
  • If you have less than 250 posts, please post a video if you want to join us on the score board.

Please advise if you use a belt, straps, smith machine and/or any other lifting aids or non standard machinery, if we are not satisfied it counts for this league it will be discounted - however please contribute to the Gym Rats Thread to update us on your progress.

Ideally it would be great if you could post a video of the lift (this is not mandatory for existing contributers), if you have less than 250 posts on the forum we would prefer a video for proof, not for the sake of disbelief or lack of trust, more for the sake of interest of those taking part who are long time members on the forum. All we ask is that you are honest about your lifts.

Happy with a BW x2 Deadlift eventually i want to work towards that x3 mark, its a long way to go but i will get there.

Not really a fan of the bench press to be honest.

Squat can do with some work as well.

Shouldn't be a general problem, post a vid of one of them and i'll get you one :)

About the only thing going up on that for the next few months will be bench, as I'm not squatting or benching for the time being :p :(

Do you really hate benching/squatting or something? :p

Bro, I'm really happy with that bench considering a year or so ago I couldn't bench the bar without crying :p That was for 3x3 mind, so should be good for 90.

And I just suck at squats, trying to work on that one :p
 
Can't see my bench going up for a while as my shoulder is not happy with me at the minute, my deadlift can't go any higher until I move gyms but I can see my squatting keeping on going up as I've really gotten into the grove on that recently.

Why can't your deadlift go up? Unless you've ran out of plates.....

Whats your max? Can;t believe you can't whack more on the bar somehow :p
 
Might be worth it....Particularly if you enjoy it and the owners are decent, they may even chip in.
 
Haven't done it yet this year. If however you get a spare moment feel free, as I hate doing that.
 
Belted 210 looked pretty good, and gratz on the 215 PB :)

I'll add myself to this - bench and squat are 'calculated' - wont be able to test them properly for a little while (gym closure) and I'd rather get another cycle going than delay for some more accurate tests.
