happy to see some games in the north east, and with 2 of them being scotland it ensures decent crowds..more chance of more people coming to newcastle and it can be a day trip for them instead of having to venture further south

quite fancy seeing the kiwis as well as the opportunity to have them on your doorstep doesnt happen to often

My brother in law is looking to buy another four tickets, possibly England game in Cardiff or at Wembley. So hopefully we get both lots of tickets or at least one lot.

I tried to buy another four for another game but restricted to 1 game only it seems.

I've just applied for £1500 worth of tickets through the ballot.

Knowing my luck I'm going to get all of them :S

You can choose to only get tickets for a set number of matches even if you apply for more so you don't end up spending more than you want.

I'm going to attempt to do the same tonight.

If you do get all of them apparently you can sell them back (via the official channels).... but not until next spring! I might have a hole in my wallet for a while...

To be honest if I did get them all I'd pay the price

It's not too often that we get a chance to see World cup rugby in our own backyard

Really hoping I get my tickets for South Africa vs Japan as it's at Brighton's football stadium.. will be weird to be able to have a pint in the stands (football s/t holder) :)

Where have you seen that? Everything I've read just says once you've got them that's it.
I'd be much more inclined to hit the buy button on the crazy money in my basket right now if it's possible as a backup.

If you select 'FAQ's by Category', then scroll down to 'Ticket Resale'. It says:

England 2015 will open an official ticket resale platform in Spring 2015. This will be the only authorised way to buy tickets from people offering their tickets for resale. Further details regarding ticket resale will be announced in 2015.

Got four tickets for South Africa vs Scotland on 3rd october at St James park. Cost £500.

Scotland going down. :D

I didn't think anyone had anything yet and that it was all going to realistically end up going to ballot. No one will know till October and the ticketing doesn't close till 29/9, it's not first come first served.

I put my name down for £2200 of tickets and clicked the upgrade button as well so I could be pretty poor if I got them all :p

With the 'upgrade' button, I assume that it would only upgrade you by 1 tier? So you can't be in Cat D and then end up with Cat B for example.

It also seems like you can't select which games you would want to "upgrade" on which is a shame :(

My girlfriend 'got some rugby tickets to see Wales in Cardiff'... I had high hopes, a little too high! :D

Going to see the autumn test vs Fiji... At least it's not League lol ;)

opted for 940 quids worth of tickets here.

Does anyone know how the 'increase my chances' option works?
Does it mean i will get 'offered' the tickets in a higher category if i say 'yes' - or does it mean i am agreeing to accept tickets in a higher category?

somewhat scared at the prospect of ending up with two Category A world cup final tickets at 1400+ for the pair!

It means that you agree to pay the price of the category above if that category is available and the one that you selected isn't.

In my case I've gone for all grade D which probably limits my chances but I've ticked upgrade me so I might end up with category C tickets if D is unavailable.

I've really no idea what the demand for this is going to be like and whether I will get a hand full of my choices or if I will struggle to get one at all!
