If you're a fan of HyperX headphones then you might be excited to hear that they are releasing two new models, the HyperX Revolver and the HyperX Revolver S.

The HyperX Revolver unlike the the HyperX Cloud is fully designed by Kingston (HyperX Cloud's design is licensed from Qpad). Apparently the new design will provide a better soundstage than the original Cloud. The new drivers will be 50mm, 3mm smaller than the originally used 53mm drivers, but are apparently angled to open up the soundstage.

The HyperX Revolver will be the analog stereo version while the Revolver S will come with the 7.1 Dolby Surround USB.

Sounds nice although I'm perfectly happy with my Cloud II headset. As long as 7.1 is turned off it is a fantastic headset and I got it for £30 off which really sealed the deal for me.

It does look quite cool though.

£100 is terrible for something that can't even top their previous line.

The Cloud headset is just a re-brand of QPAD QH-90 so the Revolver is fine for a first effort, but it should be priced accordingly.

They probably have so much market presentation they'll sell a bucket load of these anyway. Disappointed but wouldn't move away from the HyperX Cloud regardless.

I'm not too keen on their brightred sunburst design on the cups. The metal construction is nice though although I hear it causes vibration which will probably get annoying in the long run.
