Hi All

I have just fitted a replacement reversing camera to my 2016 Hyundai Tucson and it works fine, except the steering trajectory lines now go the wrong way when I turn the steering wheel? Does anyone know how it works or if there is a way to change this in the settings?

The replacement camera I got was not an origional, but said it was for my car, the bracket and connector was a perfect fit and camera works fine (ie when displaying, the stuff on the right of the car shows on the screen as on the right).

Any clues as to how I can fix this myself - I cant for any reason see why replacing the camera would do this (but I am not sure if its the camera or the headunit that does the lines?) - I am not sure if the camera is wrong or it is something that can be done through the head unit (which I think is a Gen 2.0)

Many thanks

I have had a look at the camera I took out, it has 7 wires going to it,

Top of plug:

1 x orange
1 x grey
1 x yellow
1 x red

Bottom of plug

1 x Black
2 x white

Can anyone identify these wires, I cant seem to find a full service manual online for anything beyond a 2015, which has only 4 wires to the camera?

damn it, there was me thinking it would be an easy fix (although it took 3 hours, lots of swearing, and a lot of broken bits to get the interior, then exterior panels off to get at it!)

Do you know if its the camera or the head unit that does trajectory lines, I would think it was the head unit or the camera would have to know the position of the steering wheel but I have seen mixed things on the web, and 7 wires seems a lot for just a video, power and trigger for the camera so think the white wires could be a connection to the CAN that has been wired back to front?
