***2017/18 Pre-Season Thread***

at least no-one got bitten (yet)

Utd have had a few 1/2 chances, but Valencia and Blind really need to cross a lot better

A lot of pressure at the other end, and a couple of really good saves by De Gea

Really gutted Herrera is basically getting no pre-season so far, he is going to be weeks behind everyone else which might be telling come the start of the EPL

The stadium announcer reading the subs just gave the numbers. Good job mate...

20 in 4 out
7 in 8 out

For like 2 mins. Who the hell could follow that.

Just watched the United/Barca and City/Madrid highlights and both games could have been a very different scoreline. Madrid should have scored 4-5 probably and City could have had a few more as well. Barca and United was the same. We had quite a few chances and Barca could have put a few more past us if it wasn't for DDG. Kinda goes to show how meaningless these games are for anything bar fitness and a bit of match sharpness. Defending seems to largely go out of the window.

Yeah he's like that every year makes me laugh.

"Oh that is a foul every day of the week!"
*replay is shown*
"looks like a pretty good tackle to me Paddy"

I know club channels are always going to be slightly bias but he took the ****. Even the other commentators were trying to reason with him but he was having none of it.

Oh hes a complete nutter but he is funny. As shami says, you could show him a replay of a leg breaker and he would claim the guy is play acting and it was a good tackle.

Emirates Cup is on the free-to-view channel Quest, if anyone wants to watch it. 2-2 against a strong Benfica line-up 1st half, pretty young side, 2 Walcott goals. 7 subs allowed (Elneny on for crocked Coq already) so probably get more first-teamers 2nd half.
