I tell you, Solanke is making a hell of a case in preseason to be a starter in the first team this year

Yea, he's been impressive but as I said with Salah, I'm always cautious of getting too excited by pre-season performances as new signings always tend to put that little bit more effort in than everyone else. Voronin looked a world beater in pre-season and he was ****.

Another good performance all round from us though. The one thing that's really pleased me from pre-season has been the link-up between Salah and Coutinho - they seem to have clicked straight away and that could be a huge asset for us next season.

It feels like Bayern desperately want Renato Sanches to be a good player and he just isn't. Never seen him play well and he looks nowhere near Bayern quality. Poor touch, poor passer of the ball and hasn't got a good shot on him.

I'm not entirely sure what Rafinha is still doing on the pitch to be honest...his first was a borderline red but they were both clear yellows.

Very surprised at the lack of yellows even though it's a "friendly". Great first half for Liverpool though!

The LFC commentators mentioned the Refs were being strict during this competition, which makes it even more odd.

There were some shockers in the earlier match as well, Godin should've received a straight red twice and Atletico could've been down to 8 or 9 players.
