*** 2018 Powerlifting Totals ***

So far in 2018:

Captainrave ----------------- 165 / 135 / 215 -------------- [85] --------- 515

Weight has held steady, chest is finally getting built up again having overcome a shoulder injury. These lifts all feel pretty comfortable too, but am going to stick to adding 2.5kg every 3 weeks as it has worked very well for me so far.

Haven’t updated this in ages. In the meantime my bench has held well, my squat and deadlifts have progressed very slowly. Didn’t help that I got comfortable and too ambitious. I need to increase calories soon, bring on winter mode.

Edit: no wonder I am struggling with big lifts, my weight has gone down. Bulking time soon I think.

thought id post, totals after a longggg large cut and months of not eating enough, kicking my training up a notch so want to see where I am in a few months, My dead lift and squat both took a hammering so hopefully they will start going back up
 
Making some progress. Deadlifts are at 185 for 7, squats at 160 for 6 and bench at 95 for 6.

Would like to get as close to 240 deadlift as I can by the end of the year. It feels good again.

For those of you that have followed my journey, it's the first time I broke my squat PR since 2010. It was an accidental PR, I had no intent to go above 180KG as 180 X 5 was my first PR.

I had the best spotters. 2 times world record holder on the left and current brits record holder on the right.

Quite an emotional moment. After 5 surgeries, 4 knee surgeries - I never thought I could lift again.

200kg dead has been a goal of mine for a very very long time. Finally hit it last night felt like more in the tank too, and squat is increasing even though im not squatting much and focusing on deadlifts. Reiyushins programme obviously works!! Bench still sucks though, must train chest more.
 
Great to see some strong gains in here again this year. Was hoping to increase my squat, but just missed out this week. At least everything else is getting stronger, although probably going to miss my 240Kg deadlift target for the end of the year :( - at least I am moving forwards now though. Would love to know what happened to me in the middle part of the year.

Just think you could weigh an extra 10 kg and have my squat -_-

At least you are a fellow gym bro like me, powerful deadlift, squat lacking in comparison. I just don't get it. I am in this constant squat rut where my deadlift gains consistently and my squat is just like, nope. My now repaired, once destroyed shoulder has allowed more chest gains than anything I have seen from my squat over the last year.

Well my squat continues to suck, but instead of a rest night I decided to try some new totals. Great to have a functioning shoulder again.
