2018 winter olympic tickets

has anyone been to any olympics or know anything about going.
when will ticket lottery come about, whats the likelihood of getting tickets, do hotels put up their prices, be surprised if they didn't.
seems it would be a nightmare and expensive to book up, but any advice or experience.
