With most of the locally run displays being cancelled, I'm looking to have a small display for my partner and her kids. I'm trying to source silent fireworks but short of buying online, which I'd prefer to avoid, I'm unable to find anything in relation to well known supermarkets stocking them.

Has anyone considered the same/had any luck sourcing locally or have you just ordered online?

Yeah, we've got more than enough space for it, easily 100ft from where we set them off.

Oh man, that must be quite the surprise, hope he was alright

Your poor neighbourhood pets :(
Indeed
He actually sounds like one of the few people actually considerate of such things?
I didn't even know silent fireworks existed, I don't know if I like the sound of that.

It's not just the pets, my GFs youngest has very sensitive hearing and even everyday sounds will cause him to freak out and scream so there is more than just one reason for this.

I am not allowed to even discuss fireworks any more. On Milllennium New Year's Eve 2000 I came home just slightly inebriated and attempted a firework display in the garden. I don't remember anything from the time apart from a lot of noise, but the next day there were four large craters in the grass (I'd put those huge rocket things in upside down), one fence panel destroyed, one burnt conifer, and scorch marks on the patio where I'd apparently lit this dodgy firework frog thing I'd got from the market, mounted on a bird feeder table. It just started rocking side to wide, blew up twice, fell off the table and rolled around the floor on fire. Think there were about 20 odd fireworks in total, apparently of which none actually ended up in the sky.

I wasn't too popular for a while, I don't even remember any of it.

That is gold :D
