The 2021 Powerlifting Totals table will be for lifts performed ONLY in 2021! Last years and subsequent years totals will be included in this thread for comparisons sake.

I would really recommend you put your totals on this board no matter how big or small. It's a nice way to track your progress and can occasionally generate a bit of competition between members which always results in more gainz

State your 1RM (one rep max) for the 3 big lifts in Kilos. Preferably using a normal Olympic 20kg barbell.
    1. Squat
    2. Bench
    3. Deadlift
  • State your bodyweight in Kilos.

Can I put last years current 1RM's in so that I can have somewhere to track/goals etc? They are very low but I would like to work on them for the year.....

I'm hoping to get on the list again this year :) I've been battling some health and injury issues for a while now but still slowly progressing through some lifting ;) Fingers crossed...

Spotters arrived so feel comfortable trying to push my squat up now. A lot left in the tank, still working up to my current limits.

The first time you bail real helps confidence on pushing through, I used to be petrified of failing a lift.

I haven't done this for a while but currently sitting at my all time bests:

Definitely does! Had the same with bench today, decent bit added on. Failed 100 twice with the bar pinned just above my neck, so had to slide out to the side of the bench :p

did my 5rm this week, half way through this block and already hitting nice Reps PBS

I can’t not post, although a combination of exhaustion and a lower focus on the bigger lifts has altered by progress.

End of last year:

So far this year:
Captainrave ----------------- 190 / 152.5 / 240 -------------- [90] --------- 582.5

Squats are flying up. Deadlifts going the other way and stuck on a plateau with bench. Arms and shoulders are my best gains at the moment :p

With a bit of luck bench and squat will push me over 600 - a few extra kg bodyweight couldn’t harm either. I always struggle once I hit 90kg, although squats are ramping my leg gains up rapidly.

Lost a couple kilos and pushed up bench, feels like there's still a bit more in the tank. Still to test squat and deadlift, squat might be at its limit but deadlift I'm sure I can get 170+ once I get some more weights

First time I’ve ever cleared 90kg bodyweight consistently - reasonably low body fat, around 20-22%. Maintaining a 0.5kg per month increase minimum too. Squat and bench are flying up, but I’ve taken to much more caution with deadlifts and am focussing on other movements for back development - landmine one handed rows (nearly 90kg per side), shrugs (not far off 300kg), weighted pull-ups (probably my biggest challenge right now). Going to need new shirts soon - XXL? :D

I always thought incremental plates for squats/bench were ridiculous, but they’ve really helped me punch through some walls - metaphorically :p

No change but failed 180kg deadlift; was a stupid decision to try and make a 20kg jump. I'll hit 170kg within the next couple of sessions and try again, got 180kg well above the knees so I can feel it's not far off.

Where do you buy your plates or are you doing this at the gym?

Quite expensive I see for plates.

Also if these are your records what weight would you train at?

i train at home in my garage its an absolutely terrible time to buy plates unfortunately due to covid my set up would cost near double in the current climate, i have a mixture of plates from again faster EU, body max. Strength shop are decent aswell.

for what weights to train at, get a program and stick to it! really stick to it, no random maxes no deviation etc.

if you are very new to the sport stronglifts 5x5 is a great place to start

ran smolov jnr bench, and it only went and worked! quite impressed with a 7.5kg increase in under 4 weeks! volume volume volume!
