You have all probably seen articles about the new 2022 laptops unveiled at CES.
So we are getting intel 12th gen CPUs with ddr5 ram. nvidia ti gpus, intel gpus, optane, oled screens, higher refresh rates, higher resolutions and new amd 6000 series gpus and new cpus.
I think I like the look of either an alienware m15 or a lenovo legion 5 Pro.
I would ideally like an all AMD machine as it should be a bit cheaper and with Powershift it should hopefully be pretty good. It is an old socket and doesn't have ddr5 but I'm not bothered. It doesn't seem much faster and is expensive and I'm not likely to upgrade the laptop much so an old socket isn't too bad.
Hopefully the ams gpus will be able to keep up with nvidia. I would likeva 3070ti equivalent.
