Hi

Is there anything to look out for between 2022 and 2024 versions of the non air non pro iPad? The 2024 version appears to have the same a14 CPU yet commands £30 more

I feel like I should pay the £30 just in case there's a benefit of it being newer but would like apple people's thoughts

There isn’t a 2024 version.

The 10th gen is the latest which was released in 2022 and has the A14 chip. The previous gen the 9th was released in 2021 and had an A13 chip in it.

i use the 10th gen for my golf simulator software, and the software is a LITTLE demanding, but runs the program in medium / high detail smoothly..its good value for the money.

There's a new version rumoured to be dropping in the next couple of months, might be worth waiting if you want the latest and greatest. You could also chance your luck with a decent discount on the older iPad once the new ones drop but they're already burning through old stock.

2022 model has a charger and cable whereas the refreshed 2024 only comes with the cable.

The actual iPad is the same for both.
