Traditionally, the good and big gig shows for the following year get announced about now and this time of year, and true to form this is happening already for 2024.
I got two excellent seats for The Manic Street Preachers this morning when they went on sale for me and a Girlfriend and this is at Edinburgh castle ... they are doing a Castle tour of the UK next year it seems, not been there before for a venue, but friends have for the Tattoo and they assure me it will be a wonderful gig.
Have not seen the Manics live before, but my word have admired their talent for decades now ... so pleased we get to see them live at last, its gonna be great, I just hope it does not rain !!!
Also and a bit unexpected, but my pal has told me Rammstein are doing yet another Euro tour next year, no dates for UK and same as this year (Brexit kicking in? and what a silly idea that was) But I did catch them live last year at Coventry and it was a killer GIG .... VERY VERY LOUD but wonderful and it stayed dry too LOL, these tickets go on sale on the 18th and I will be first in line to buy, this is for the Dublin show IE, never been there before, so quite an adventure .. Hope to take in the famous Guinness factory tour if we can.
So yeah, despite all the trouble and strife going on in the world just now, 2024 is shaping up very good so far, doing the Triple bill of Judas Priest, Saxon and Uriah Heep at Glasgow and wow that is going to be MEGA, also booked in to Aberdeen to see Professor Brian Cox for the science stuff I like too, yep 2024 is shaping up really well, should have had my planned hip replacement by then too if things go according to plan ... Bring it on baby .... Bring it on
