Rumours abound that the cash ISA limit will be reduced to £4000pa from £20000pa. Investing in stocks and shares using an ISA wrapper may stay at the higher annual limit. Recently I have been taking advantage of the higher cash limits as interest rates have increased pushing my savings into tax liabilities. I would have done similar this year as well but it may have been the last time. 18 million people have a cash ISA and 300 billion is invested in them.
