No, I didn't get selected. I was well mad on the day seeing all the TikTokers who'd never run 1K in their lives get chosen. Will enter again this year and hopefully there won't be as many numpties trying.

I’ve got in twice now after entering the ballot twice - first for the 2020 which ended up not happening till October 2021 (I was not doing a virtual one by myself…) and now for this year. There were over 800,000 entrants for it last April - that I’ve come out of the ballot twice is just insane…

While I do regular 10k runs in a smidge over an hour, I’ve never been a proper runner. I just want to beat my previous time of 6:32 - got some ASICS Superblast 2’s to help me along…
