205 Rallye

Has anybody had a 205 Rallye?

I'm seriously thinking of buying one, and unlike their European counterparts, the British ones are a mere 85BHP, compared to the 100 and odd over the channel.

I was wondering - if anybody has had one, driven one, been in one - are they nippy at all? - The 85BHP British model I mean.

Well yeah, I'm after an S1 rallye and have been for over a year, but I'm yet to find one that I'd buy.

Have a look at www.106rallye.co.uk there are loads on there for sale, some very tidy ones too.

The UK 205 rallye uses the same engine as the 205XS, the euro rallye uses the same TU2j2 engine as the S1 106 rallye - but runs carbs instead of injection.
