anyone else got / had a samsung 205bw?

i got mine in decemeber 2006.
the stand collapsed under its own weight in january (just outside of 28 days so couldnt take it back to the shop i work lol). Been waiting for the replacement stand since then XD

just want to know if this is a common fault or if i was one of the unlucky ones, found a couple of people on other sites with the same problem.
 
...Bought two mid way though Dec. Not had a problem with either. Have adjusted them up and down a few times etc but no breakages or anything.
 
Before I bought my 205bw I was reading some review sites and one purchaser said his stand was awful too, and sagged under its own weight. So it appears it's not just you.

As for mine, it works fine, but it does *feel* a bit flimsy. I think I'll wall mount it soon.
 
28 days after the initial complaint to samsung and still no stand.

Got in contact with them today to be told "that item is currently out of stock" ><
w00t go customer service! XD
 
samsung are now collecting the stand tomorrow... they say they'll have it repaired by wednesday next week. Should be interesting to see how they "repair" it.
