207 rear side window replacement

Anyone had to replace a rear passenger side window on 3 door car before and the likely cost?

Tried Autoglass but they can't give a quote, they want to send someone out and were only interested in making an appointment to get the job done. Either they think my insurance is paying for it and that I don't care or the phone doris misheard me.

Mine is badly scratched.

go 2nd had from a breakers yard. theres 100's of them cars being broke and wont cost you a fortune.

Not sure on fitting though, probably need special glues and stuff.

any good competent car restoration or body repair shop should have the materials and knowledge to do this as proper respray jobs involve removing windows .

Many of us get a glass company in to do that part of the job

I did ask the VAT dodging body shop that did my bonnet the other week and I got met with "we don't do glass mate, we're a body shop".

Think most of the average body shop place just tape the windows up with brown paper.
