Hey guys,

I have my 'sofa' spare gaming PC I occasionally use, and the 2080ti is on its way out. What would be a good replacement for the £300/350 budget? Using my LG C9 I usually play at 1080 or 1440p.

I'm thinking 4060/3060ti. I did want 12 gigs of vram but not sure it's realistic with my budget. Again its not my main gaming PC. I think the 5 series will be way out of budget of what I need too.

Cheers

Maybe not the question but how is it on the way out? Have you given downclocking/undervolting it a go to see if stability improves? I appreciate you might just want an upgrade anyway but as you say the vram issue is annoying.

As soon as I start any game, starts flickering, almost like the brightness keeps adjusting then stuttering happens. Then after 5/10 mins it crashes and the fan is 100% until it restarts. I could open it up and maybe change the pads, but this is the OG 2080ti, so it has had a decent life.
