20mb Virgin keeps going down to almost dial up?

I'm in the Wolverhampton area and my 20mb line is right now very very slow. It was also last night. From the Blueyonder games site I normally get about 2400kb/s but now it's only showing as 35kb/s.
I was wondering if anyone else in the area is having these problems?
It was running fine this morning but just seems shot now!
I've had this line for years and always got the max speeds.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the 4mb speed increases they are doing?

My connection is fine atm, i am in stoke, not too far away.

I'm in Walsall, and getting full 2400kb/sec off blueyonder ftp

EDIT.

Virgin was messing about with the selfcare site the weekend.
I also heard people was having problems with the newsgroups at the weekend

It's now back to the 2400!
I'm hoping it was just a little thing and not going to happen often!
I think PC Plod we are on the same area update thingy! Technically I'm in Willenhall but no-one ever knows where that is!

I get spells of say 10 mins when my connection is slowing down happens maybe 4 times per week other than that I see the full whack 99% of the time

ok Last night it went right back down again, so much so that I couldn't use it. This morning it's back to normal!
