I would go with the Intel I3 and a Z68 board, this would allow a upgrade to Ivy Bridge and also possible overclocking with the correct CPU in the future.

H61/H67/P67 all work with Ivy too.

This ^^ Unless you're going to have a crack at flashing the BIOS with the correct OEM string? I'm thinking you'd better budget for an OS too

The OS on the laptop will be OEM tied. You'll need to install the correct OEM string into the BIOS. Good luck
