2142 Patch 1.51 - 17/09/2010

When is this available on Steam? Because i might just buy it and download it through EA Download Manager.
 
Interesting.. I'm sure I have this sitting around somewhere.. might have to reinstall :-) (and abuse my X-Fi FPS goodness ;-) )
 
I don't believe they have put it on steam yet but one of the 2142 Mods have stated that after a few weeks of stability with the new patch they are going to review the options as regards to steam. I can't see any reason as to why they wouldn't put it on steam for ~£10.

Installed and running ok so far, Win7 64bit. Had one hard reboot when i tried changing the Audio settings and had a few niggling win7 "isn't compatible" type issues but all seems ok . I manualy installed the DX off the disc after the audio reboot because it wouldn't install during setup.

Logged in and checked my hours 514hrs 26 mins got the orignal box here with £32.99 price tag on it. Think i've got my moneys worth out of it :)
 
Bought the game on EA DM and it's already downloaded the game in 30 minutes, proper good programme.
