Tempted to reinstall... loved the squad mechanics in 2142 with the orbital drop things :D

Shame it didn't get released on steam for a little revival ^^

I believe it will get a Steam re-release. As long as they don't charge silly money for it i think it'lls ell well. no more than £9.99 I'd hope.
 
Guys I bought the deluxe retail edition a long time ago, how do I go about activating northern strike?

Does patch 1.5 include it or do you still need to activate to play the content?

Oh I see, 1.51 and it includes northern strike! Oh joy

Just to let you know I had a few problems installing 2142.

It wouldn't let me install 1.51 to the 'virgin' game - kept saying the game was already more upto date than the patch!!

Way around it for me was to install patch 1.5 first and then 1.51 - Just played it for an hour or so - seems to be working well although having not played this for 18mth-2yrs I'm getting killed big time :)
 
If you're having trouble with the patch saying the game is already up-to-date go into the registry for Battlefield 2142 and change the 'Version' Value to 1.50

It worked for me.
