2142 problem

Basically every time i join a game after a minute or so i get thrown out due to punkbuster,i have punkbuster enabled and have tried with it disable'd but no good,i tried reinstalling but still no go,any ideas?
Allso anyone tell me how i can set my native res of 1680x1050?won't let me get anywhere near in game settings

For resolution settings I use:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +playNow 1 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200

for 1920 x 1200 so sub your own in the above. This is part of the shortcut to start the game.

Edit: the above is for Vista 64 so remove the (x86) if on 32 bit.

cool,i'll take a lookallthough i still have the PB errorused the link above and had a read and tried what it suggested,downloaded the program which updates punkbuster for the specified program,it upgraded PB but still the same

make sure u have both PbA.exe and PbB.exe running in your processes. will boot u after about 1 min if one of these are not running

make sure ** firewall isn't blocking PbA.exe and PbB.exe as i had that prob

strange,i cant see pbA or pbB in processesis it possible that neither are running?if so how do i enable them?
also tried with firewall turned off

sry, they are not called PbA.exe and PbB.exe, they are like this:

and the only way i know how to update them is to run Pbsetup.exe and find Battlefield 2142 in the list. Run that and check to see if they are in the processes list

updated punkbuster but still not even getting it in processes,joined a game checked and nothing,then get bootedvery frustrating.

hmmm,what pb message do you get? its tricky to read (top left) but should appear on your screen a fraction of a second before u get booted....

as unfortunately the 2142 menu only shows up as "Punkbuster" after you have been booted
