2142 problems now!

Reinstalled as im back on xp now,
install goes ok, but the update from ealink fails, and ofc then northern strike fails to install.

Ive tried reinstalling the game and updating again, but it wont have it. Any help :/

Also when i try and run the game it c2d's, verrry odd indeed.

Did you get the game through EA Link?

If not, try downloading the patch yourself and installing it.

didnt get the game through it no, shall manual patch it then

hmmm, now its kicking me for "punkbuster".

Tried manually updating it, if..thats what you want to call it. DOnt have a clue what I was doing, anyone offer some more help

www.evenbalance.com (** pb kick is due to ** firewall software not alowing the new pb services that run with windows now you have to enable your firewall to let them access the internet

ok ive set firewall to allow the pb files, 2142 was already allowed.

Is that right? Or do I have to do something else?
