Was just on a titan server and had 3 players on opposite team with [OcUK] tags.. Can't remember all the names but one was Killer_uk. Had a good round fragging eachother, although i have to say i felt bad killing fellow ocuk'ers if thats what they were.

I wish I could've joined in, unfort PB keeps booting me out of ever server within 1 min for major packet loss. Can't solve the problem either, no more 2142 for me it seems

I had similar issue, you tried a fresh install of 2142?

Yep 3 of 'em. Installed right after a vista clean install as well. I think it might be down to punkbuster itself tbh. They have changed it again, I might have found a solution as well on the pb site. Going to give it a go later when I finnish work.

you need to make sure your logged in as administrator, and to make sure right click the icon, run as and then choose the acc with admin rights

Yes mate, know that one. It's my AV not letting the PB services run thats been causing the issue.

its best to re-download the latest patch for the game. had the same problem, i didnt need to re-install the game, just downloaded the patch from the ea website instead from fileshack and installed over the top. worked fine after this.

what is punk buster actually for does it stop cheaters all it seems to do is stop people playing games

i think it stops hackers on the server, ie if they wall hack pb should pic up on this and warn them/kick them. ive been kicked for ip conflicts because me and my brother were using the same internet connection (wierd i know). also if your cd key is invalid eg you didnt buy the game. many things pb account for when watching you on a server. if you are really interested in what it fully does, best to go on the website.

easy fix check ** firewall isn't blocking the new pb software punkbuster a and b or check out www.evenbalance.com

alright m8 i was going to join u but i couldn't get in
