Hi,

My 7 year old Hitachi LCD is just about dead, I've got a 22" LG which is going to be relegated to be used as the 2nd screen and I would like a 22-24" screen to replace it as my main display.

I have about £200 to spend, which screens would you recommend for image editing and web design? I would like one with a good stand that can be height and tilt adjusted etc as my current LG doesn't do either.

Ta :)

After having a read around, seems as though the Dell 2209WA (IPS panel) can be had for a tad over my budget. Are any of the TN panel displays worth looking at for what I want, or will the Dell be worth the extra?

if you are doing image editing etc i think you will find the 2209WA perfect for your needs
it is very highly rated the only complaint ive heard is dell increasing the price to £250 from £180-£190
It also has a good response for an IPS(6ms) which is better than most so you wont have problems if you want to ocassionaly game on it
all thats left to say is buy it :)

Having just got a 2209WA and running it next to a 226WTQ LG I have to say the Dell is worth it! Unbelievable difference in PQ.

I don't mind paying the extra for an IPS panel, I didn't think I'd get one under £300 tbh.

That's good to know, I currently have a 226WTQ :)
