I am looking at a dual screen setup for new gaming computer.

Never really brought screens before always just picked one that looked nice and lived with it

.

Looking for screen thats good for gaming and some movie watching when i cant be bothered to move to my tv. I play games such as Counter strike source and GO, battlefield 3 and eve online.

Have a max budget of £250 per monitor so total of £500.

Any recommendations?

Since you can't game on dual monitor, what do you need the other monitor for?

I have dual monitor atm, so I run my primary for gaming (benq xl2420t) then I have a secondary cheap samsung for extra workspace for uni work.

Since it's not for gaming you could split your budget differently, spend more comparatively on the primary and less on the secondary?

I do game on both as i dual box eve (my main game) playing around 3-4 hours every night other games are sort of a break or if i wanna kill something different.

However i am open to idea's so a good 1st monitor and decent 2nd one may interest me. What sort of match up did u have in mind?

IIyama Prolite E2475HDS + BenQ XL2420T seems like a combo that would work well together. Both are excellent for (fast paced) games although the 120Hz BenQ will obviously be better - stays within the £500 budget.

ooooh eve.

I'm not sure what your best option is as I don't play it. Rather than a fast 120hz panel you might benefit from a higher res one? I couldn't say myself..

High res would be a lot better for eve, how would that effect my other games though? seen as how eve is my main i could give up ultra smooth gameplay for the rest.
