this is probably the fourth time ive asked but i never got round to it the other times and there are probably new ones etc so.. if im gunna buy two 22" monitors to run of a 4850 whats my best bet...

coupla things, im not overly fond of dell: theyre evil and should be submitted to the worst of tortures,,, sang to..... by a frenchman
(so no dells unless i really have to)

preferably spend around £300-£400 but will pay for quality if its worth it, closer to £300 would be nice but its not worth sacrificing the resault just for £20 etc.

it would also be good if someone could explain why for example the ASUS at £160, with better specs (as far as i can see) is so much cheaper than some of the dells and samsungs

thanks in advance

I would say the Asus is cheaper due to brand name,
It's just that dells and samsungs can put a higher price because people will pay it.

That being said, Dells / Samsungs tend to have a high quality of build.

i thought it was panelo type? read some of the reviews of the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA and im tempted,, hate dell but it sounds like im gunna have to bite my pride, will i miss 1920x1080?

You'll probably have a more "comfortable" gaming experience at 1680*1050 on a 4850, next bump up and you'd prob have to sacrifice a bit of image quality. Do you plan on upgrading it? If so I'd go for 1920*1200/1080 screen and bite the bullet until you upgrade your card.A monitor is one thing that you can future proof for a few years at least!

The Asus 22" screen is worth more than they are asking for.

Cant fault it at all, Highly recommended and, Save some £.

dunno why everyones so anti 4850, mine can play crysis on full settings and stay above 10fps! (not playable by any means but still!) all other games are fine on full settings!! currently on a 32" HD TV at 1080p60 happily, but tv is needed for tv and xbox, screens for pc
