As it has same resoloution to 20" is the quality going to be much worse than a 20"

Thanks, Ben.

With a 8800GTX you could probably get a 1920x xxxx screen. I'm gaming on a 20" 1680x1050 screen btw which has the same rez as the 22" I can see a pixel from about 75cm away, and my eyesight isn't that great. Probably similar in size to a very sharp pencil, full stop lightly pressed onto paper. The taskbar is about 8mm high.

Image is great on a 22. Think of it like this. Most HD 42' TV's only have 720p and they still look good. or When you had CRT TV's you didn't go for a 28' over the 32' because they both have the same Resolution.

That's like saying...cars-are they good quality?
AFAIK the 22" use TN panels, so have own pros and cons, wheras 20" and 24" are different panels again. Not being monitor expert I don't know, only have two PC LCD monitors, a 17" LG, 20" Philips, and 40" Samsung LCD TV.

Does this screen offer aspect modes, philips has stretch keeping oar, oar, and stretch.
