Need a 22" monitor for my parents and can't decide between these

Iiyama ProLite E2208HDD
BenQ G2222HDL

Really want a true 22" pannel but the BenQ looks better, is LED backlight and although the price of either isn't a problem the BenQ is also cheaper.

They will be using it for office, browsing, email and my brother will probably game on it, GTA, the sims, stuff like that.

How much more screen space does the 22" offer over the 21.5"?

Thanks Troezar, hehe I've moving them from a 17" LCD and 3000+ to my old athlon 620 and probably the Iiyama.

Going to order the Iiyama within the next few days latest unless anyone can convince me otherwise.

Got the Iiyama today, one dead pixel, which is ok because it's not noticable during use. However there is also a stuck green pixel, this one is very noticable.

I've tried the software and pressure methods but it's not budging. Anything else i can try before RMA? Pixeltuneup claims to fix stuck pixels but I'm sceptical.

It's a lot more obvious than in the picture, cannot live with it.

Yeah my luck finally ran out, previous 3 LCD's have no dead/stuck pixels.

Can DSR but want to avoid that if possible.

It's just a shame because it seems like a really good monitor.

Well OcUK have dicked me about for 6 days only to say sorry we can't help. Not happy to say the least, full of rage infact.

I'll post the full support fail when my rage has subsided slightly to avoid me smashing my PC up in the proccess.
