not seen anyone with that model tbh Huddy. It's using the same AU Optronics TN Film panel as the Belinea 2225S1W which quite a few people have here, so will offer comparable performance to that model. Worth having a search for user comments about it's performance :)

I posted about this monitor a few weeks back but nobody gave any input about it. I thouight people would have been interested in it but no one posted in the thread.

I don't know if the -B is a different version but the PLE2200WS has been reviewed on a UK site and is available at at least one major store. At the very least the bezel is marginally nicer than the terrible belinea bezel. Shame so many companies have so much trouble with designing nice monitors. Fujitsus latest effort is superb but it doesn't seem to be available in English stores.

Thanks mate.

What would be your personal choice of 22" WS TFT. I need to make my mind up by the weekend really. I'm tempted by the Samsung at the moment but this Iiyama does seem like a better spec.

Also, I was wondering if the 1000:1 contrast ratio is a little omptimistic.

It does seem like a lovely TFT

I was contimplating a TFT a year back but waited because I didn't see any real advantage from moving from my lovely CRT. A year later, things have moved on but there still seems to be problems.

1000:1 for TN Film is pretty optimistic and based on loose measuring techniques. In reality, it's probably not quite that good in practice, but TN Film has seen some decent improvements in the last year or two. I think the Samsung SM225BW is a good choice, has DVI and a host of functions, and you can be safe in the knowledge that build quality and materials will be decent, as will the support, since Samsung tend to be pretty good on the most part. I think that would be a good bet if you want a 22" screen imo
