Hi guys,

Right need some advice/Help please.

Basically i DO NOT WANT A HDTV.

I want a 22"+ monitor that looks awesome with Games on the PC.... but Also has a HDMI Input for an XBOX 360.

I previously had the Asus MW221U 22" Monitor but it suffered from ghosting on PC Games. I got a full refund and thought about the Samsung 226BW but it doesnt have HDMI input.

Then i found the LG 226WA... Unfortunatley we dont stock it in the UK but can import it from GERMANY.

It has 2ms response and 22" screen with 3000:1 ratio and a HDMI input.

its the Premium, i have just realised... it needs to be HD Component port... not HDMI... you are correct. Only the Elite Version supports HDMI.

Ok then, does anybody know anything about this LG monitor... I am thinking about importing it from Germany!

It has the HDMI input for Future use... I do not want a HDTV because i have Sky + and to be honest it will look crap on the tele?

Am i right?

Or should i just buy the monitor for the PC and a tele for a 360?

One of my mates at work was telling me the 360 has a better picture on a 22" + monitor....

Don't forget you can use VGA if you want. That gives you the option of pretty much anything. Added to that, I've heard that the recent dashboard update has improved picture quality.

i Decided.... why not have the best of both worlds.... i Bought the

Samsung 40" LCD HDTV 1080p.... £1270 from instore at Comet.

15,000:1 contrast ratio... my god its a lot bigger than 22"'s lol

i got the Asus MW221U 22".....

i dont get any ghosting its a great screen... i read that huge thread on the other section about it

In my experience a HDTV gives a better picture with Sky, with Freeview, with DVDs and with an Xbox 360 than a PC monitor. That's based on my experience with my Dell 2007WFP and my LG 32LC2D. The HDTV has better colours for video, looks more vivid and sharper with the 360 and has a better upscaler for SD content.
