Dell's new SP2208WFP will have HDMI, as will the Samsung 225MS. Bound to be others soon too i should think

Hi, I have a 24" dell monitor with dvi,hdmi and composite outputs. I currently use dvi to dvi from my gpu. I was wondering if I would notice any difference whatsover in a dvi (pc) to hdmi(monitor) cable?
Would this increase refresh rate etc?

Any help much appreaciated.

not at all. HDMI is just an interface which can carry a digital image and audio as well.....DVI is a digital image so is just a trimmed down version of HDMI in effect, without being able to carry audio

There's a hanns G 21.6" monitor with HDMI.
