Hi guys,

Not been in here for a while so im pretty out of touch with monitors now. Basically im after a 22" screen for around about the £250 mark to replace my LG 1720B. So far ive had my eye on a couple of Samsungs, but was just wondering what would be the best options to go for.

The screen will be used for written work due to it beign my final year of uni next year, and also for a fair wedge of gaming, so im just looking for a good all rounder.

Also, can soemone do me a favour, whats the difference between these two screens? Ill be damned if I can spot a difference other than the price.

MONITOR 1
MONITOR 2

Cheers for any advice

Dont quote me but from what I understand is that the 2nd screen is a Samsung Panel and the 1st screen is a lottery! Most people havent reported a problem on the CW like they have with the BW.

:)

Its true what D.M says. My suggestion would be to consider looking at the Iiyama E2201W. Very similar price to the BW but its a guaranteed Samsung panel. Not as attractive but definitely cheaper. I do not own one my self but I will be ordering one some time soon. From the reviews I've read its probably one of the best 22" gaming monitors you can get.

Ah right, I kinda guessed when it was saying on the BW that the panel type is not guaranteed that it was probably the main reason for the price difference, but wasnt sure.

Cheers for that :)
