I have onboard graphics. I don't game on the PC. Will my onboard graphics (AMD 740G/SB700, Integrated ATI Radeon 2100 graphics) Be cabable of running a 22" TFT on a DVI connection efficiently? Thanks

This is mobo i have: GA-MA74GM-S2

If not, should i go for a different mobo with better onboard graphics? I don't want to buy a graphics card.

I imagine it should handle desktop use perfectly fine. Shouldn't be any slowdown when scrolling or moving windows around.

Depends if it'll use that much memory. I suspect you'll have no problems running a 22" on it but let us know if you do.

it will be perfectly fine for office/web browsing.
just take a look at computers in an office....mostly they have onboard graphics and there isnt a problem.

Ok, great. I know with my onboard graphics i am able to set it to use 512mb. Currently at 256mb. Should have new 22" TFT this week. Shall i up it to 512mb?

Also, i currently have 2gig of DDR2 PC26400 Ram. Should i up it to 4gig? (I use Vista 64bit) Does that help with Graphics?
