Pros and cons?

I have wittled down my selections on 22 inch to either:

LG W2252TQ or
Samsung SM-2253LW (Or BW - is the only difference their size?)

But am considering the older SM2032 Pebble Samsung.

I know this is analgous to the digi cam market where millions of pixels are beneficial is they are in a bad sensor - whats the deal here, will I end up with a better monitor for the money if I plump for 20 inchs?

Alternateively, should I consider upping my budget, closer to 200 and consider either the LG 227WT or the Samsun 226BW?

Thanks Guys

20" "wide" is nothing more than low screen, height is same as ~2.5" smaller normal screen so figure out how useful media sexy "widescreen" is in 20" size.

both 20" and 22" monitors tend to have 1680x1050 as their native res. All this means is the picture on the 22" is bigger.

you would have to pick 2 specific monitors to compare side by side as each monitor has its own good and bad points

you can almost get a 24 inch for £200 these days. personally i think dells new 2409 has made 22" screens look far less of a bargain these days. But i apreciate not all will like the 16:9 ratio (doesn't bother me).

If you're attracted by the girls the picture on the W2252TQ is fairly explicit lol...

I am thinking about a new monitor as well and am thinking about the above monitor.

i would deffo go for 22"
bigger = better
or think of it this way....you can put the monitor that little big further back and it will look just like a 20" if you are not happy.

probably a silly way to put it^^ lol

22" for sure - and I'm very happy with my 2232BW Pebble :)

Next step up is 24" which is a size AND resolution shift - up to 1920x1200.
