22" vs 24"

I'm a bit stuck and wonder if someone could help me. If you play a game at full settings @ 1680x1050 on a 22" and play it @ 1920x1200 on a 24", how much better quality does the higher resolution offer, are the gains worth it?

Yes, a lot, if you play on a 24" with a smaller resolution you won't have 1:1 ratio with the game. You will have a very nice stretched game to play with.

how does 1680x1050 on a 22" screen compare to 1920x1200?

Have a look for some 1920x1200 and 1680x1050 screenshots.
You're getting 280x150 pixels more on the 24"

No point in 22", not when the 24" DGM monitors are £200

Yeah my missus is well chuffed with my 24"'er

Back ot, 24" for sure, You will drool over it for several days if not weeks
