2200g is just a 1200 with graphics isn’t it?

looking to build a computer in my cs-102 case To get rid of and so going to use my current system to put back in it, however I haven’t got enough money to buy the 1200 plus a gaming gpu and so rather use ryzen apu over my gt 710 lol to tie me over till I can afford a gpu as I got my sight set on a 4gb RX 570 maybe a 580 depending if I buy new or used.

So is the 2200g just the 1200 or will the 1200 have the slight edge?

Thanks for replies.

To be honest I don’t think I would ever go dual graphics, didn’t work out well with 2 dedicated cards years ago nevermind the idea of IGP plus dedicated, I’m only looking at the RX range as new or used they are cheaper than a 1060 6gb.

Only looking at the 1200 again because it’s meant to be a big step up over the 860k and my system does all I need currently and doing it well, so no point spending more than I need unless I find a better cpu/mobo bundle used for cost of new.

A Screen I want to get is only 1080p and widescreen.

You'll likely need a new case as well then - that case only has 240mm GPU clearance (most 570's are around 230-250mm so will be very tight if they even fit). Additionally it has poor cooling (only 2 fan mounts - 120mm side, 80mm rear - NO FRONT) which will likely cause issues with a hot running GPU.

I’m not building a new system in to that case, I will use my F3 case and put my current system back in to the aerocool case like it was before apart from a different psu and drives will be used, so card size and cooling won’t be an issue.

well in the end i went with the 1200 as it was in sort of a bundle and cost me £55 on a private sale earlier, ordered 4gb 2400 ram with prime that be here tomorrow so i can test it works like they told me it does.

i will be connecting my 710 to it and test it all outside the case, ive got some videos to make with my current system, so no rush to swap it all over as long as it all works, im going to get a decent stop gap gpu to run the ryzen with to still game and likely wait for black friday to see any deals on the good stuff.

thanks for replies.
