2209WA for games?

Does anyone have experience with one of these new eIPS screens for gaming and movies etc? Aka how is the lag on them?

Also this polariser thing people talk about that makes a white glow from an angle does that make ips a bad choice for dual monitors?

i played crysis all day on it and it run fine. i'd say its perfect for gaming.

Crysis is a very bad benchmark for monitor quality..

As frame rate will be low. Plus It uses a full screen motion blur whenever there is movement.

As for the monitor in question I cant comment.

i had blur turned off and it run perfectly stable at 40 fps on radeon 4780 on high settings. it showed no signs of ghosting and colour quality was very good

My DGM24" is fine for games so aslong as its as good as this i am happy. I did get the best of the panels in the dgm though.

Just out of curiosity sajtion, how does the unit look in general? Does it look quality or plastic and tacky?

the frames are plastic but it looks elegant. it is a nice build and i can't fault its appearance at all

would this monitor be a better investment than the samsung 2443bw? I already have a dgm 24" so am either gonna get the samsung to dual screen, get one of the dells to go with my 24" dgm. Or sell dgm and get 2 dells or 2 of the samsungs. Really am stuck on what would work out best buy for gaming and such.
