2209WA Owners - Screen Help

Any Dell 2209WA Owners know the correct way to clean the screen on these monitors?

I’ve cleaned many monitors, laptop screens over the years but this 2209WA has me beat.

Is there a special way of cleaning these things?

I just use a microfibre cloth and a bit of water - seems to do the job fine.

Im not sure what to think now as I have done the above, there are areas on the screen that are lighter / darker than others.

There were finger prints on the screen when I got it, if I try and clean a small area where the finger print is then that area ends up lighter than the rest of the screen

Did you ever solve this problem and has anybody else noticed this ?
