22inch Monitor Help

if so then I'd go for 1920. I can see the pixels from quite a distance on my 22" on 1650 If I struggle a little. 1920 can't be that small, I think it would actually be almost perfect.

Hi BeeP, yep, that's what I ment!

But as Beep said both cards be good, I'd personally go for HD4890 as it's newer and Its always nice to have something new :)

HD4870/GTX260 can be found under £160
but £200 for HD4890 I think very good price!

I would happily have any of those cards :)

Have you decided what monitor to go with yet Imran-17?

I have the ASUS VH226 and it is brilliant. I have:

PC on DVI - which is all my media, movies and surfing
Macbook on VGA - So I have split screen between its screen and the ASUS for music production
XBOX on HDMI

We can do split-screen Halo no problem.

Colours are great - I can do so much on a small deskspace with this!

U happy with it kappa?

Yes mate its fantastic! I wouldnt worry about the resolution being 'too high', it looks perfect, its all nice and shiny too so looks great. Viewing angles arent too hot, but this is the cheapest 1080p 22" with HDMI i can find and looking at the monitor from my bed isnt spot on, but its still good.

Plugged my ps3 and xbox into it and its great being able to sit this close as you do to a monitor, fantastic!

I will say the speakers arent that great, but I dont use them anyway.
