22u rack in car boot

Will a 22u rack fit in the back of a 2001 Megane with the back seats down flat? It looks big with doors on.

Might be going 50 miles to collect one and don't want a wasted journey. :)
 
I imagine the only reliable answer will be one you obtain yourself by folding the seats down and breaking out the tape-measure. :)
 
Not as far as I know, I certainly couldn't get one in my A3 (although it does have a slightly small boot opening compared to the internal volume). A rack is something like 24" x 30" x 40-50", so even if it will go in the back, you can't get it through the boot door.

If you do use a tape measure, make sure you keep it vertical/horizontal at all times - don't be tempted to measure the boot opening directly, as the top/bottom lips are on a diagonal and that measurement is misleading, as I discovered.

You should get one in something like a Zafira or Scenic, I've had a 24x26x48" fish tank in a people carrier, with space to spare
 
I don't have the measurements of the rack only that it's 600x880mm according to the eBay listing. It ends in a few hours time so I doubt I'll get the true measurements from the seller in time.
