Hello,
a friend of mine just bought a 23" Acer
Acer G236HL
He checked all the reviews, found it seemed to be a good-un for the price, bought it, and has horrible viewing angles. Apparently all the reviews with bad news about this don't tend to come up unless you specifically search for the issues!
Anyway, he's planning to trade it in as the problem is so bad he says if it displays a solid colour you only have to get 1-2 degrees off vertically and it becomes a gradient. Whether it's faulty (as I suspect if it's that bad) or just a bad one, he's been put off that model, and has asked if there are any good buys in a sililar spec/price range for a gamer (i.e. response time/ghosting more important than colour accuracy etc).
Anyone got a recommendation for a 23"?
23" (would consider 22 or 24, but not much bigger or smaller given desk space and distance from screen)
16:9 1080p native would seem best
