24” 1440p? Does it exist? If not, any 24” recommendations?

I’m having major problems with my vertigo (I have an inner ear problem/migraine issue) when trying to use my pc. It’s been going on for ages now regrettably and it’s plaguing my ability to use a computer.

I’ve got a S2721DGF which is a nice monitor but I’m wondering if it’s not helping.

Is anyone aware of a 24” 1440p monitor? I’m wondering if a reduced size will help, it may mean less movement in my field of view.

Alternatively, I am prepared to try a 24” or smaller 1080p screen with a high refresh rate. If anyone has any recommendations, I would be grateful.

Yeah, Dell made the S2417DG which was 1440p 144hz TN panel, you can overclock it to 165hz if you wanted as well. It's a really nice little monitor, only issue I ever had with it was banding on blacks/greys during darker scenes but that was seemingly a common issue that a lot of people experienced. My wife uses it now as part of her work from home office as I moved to a 27GL850 but I could honestly have stuck with it if we didn't have to pick up another monitor when we both had to start working from home last March.

I don't think Dell makes them anymore though unfortunately, you might be able to find some on the Bay?

In terms of a smaller 1080p screen, you're spoilt for choice right now with 1080p high refresh screens. There are lots of options out there for 240hz (Alienware, BenQ etc.) so it comes down to what sort of panel you want (IPS vs. TN) and then the 'extra' features that you get. I briefly used a 240hz 1080p AW2521HFL which I really enjoyed and could definitely recommend. Also worth bearing in mind that there are now 360hz panels available too.

Ah yes the S2417DG - it’s a real shame it’s a TN panel though. I’m not sure I could go back to TN now, it didn’t even feel quality a decade ago let alone now.

Its a shame no one makes a 24 1440p 144Hz+ screen now. Guess the market all want bigger screens. Appreciate the feedback!

There are plenty of 24" 1440p IPS monitors running at 75hz... sadly it doesn't go above that.. Some people are fine with 75hz as long as the panels pixel response time is good but sounds like you are looking for 100+hz which sadly doesn't exist in the 24" ips market it seems.
