anyone got one these ? cant find a lot of info on this monitor,im looking to buy a new one in the next week and this looks ideal on paper at least 2ms response time and 120hz refresh rate.any thoughts on this or similar monitors would be great oh and have to around the 130-150 mark:D

thanks for that :D if i got this monitor it would be local pick up from a store for £134 the viewing angles seems to be my only concern with it being a tn panel is there any that overclockers are selling that you would reccomend ?

Ah, so the one on offer is called the GN245HQ?

Please bear in mind that there is an Acer monitor that looks a lot like that one you linked to with the ACER product code "ET.UG5HE.019" and it is also advertised as "G245" - this particular monitor is rather cheap, but it isn't 120Hz, just 60Hz.

Not the best product naming policy by ACER tbh.
sorry think im getting confused now lol :(they are both 120hz monitors the first one you linked was the first monitor the one i linked is the newer 120hz monitor from what i can see the only differance between the two is the way the they do 3d

i thinks its the qbid model and having just checked on the acer website its listed as 100hz  just get more confusing by the minute lol im close to just forgetting about a acer product altogether :D its also listed on acer website as 284.99 so i could be letting a bargain slip during all this confusion, maybe the shop has got confused too and put wrong price on it

yea i have the info in front of me from shop where i got him to jot down some info on monitors down with prices he had to scan the 3d acer one to get price and it came up as 134.99

Right ill pop back tommorow and if it is priced up wrong ill snap his hand off and post back and if its not that one you linked on overclockers looks like a nice screen for the money :D

well i went back to shop today and it was priced up wrong still the little devil on my left shoulder was shouting just get it and run ;) but the angel on my right shoulder was saying do the right thing and get them to double check the price so they realise the mistake in price  anyhoo to cut the storey short i just couldnt do it the guilt was to much, yes i could have got a bargain and the shop would have lost money but if i hadnt pointed it out there could have been another ten or twenty ppl after me who might of done the same which could have lost this small local business a lot of money and maybe someone a job so im happy knowing i did the right thing.

Fair enough, good on you :)

Will you be going for that 24in Iiyama instead?
i have to say its very tempting :D think ill do a bit more research,im after a new monitor but i need a gpu also so i put 300 to one side for that and left max 150 for a monitor. What i was thinking was get a cheap monitor like the iiyama then in august when ill have some birthday cash and will go for somthing like the benq xl2420t or similar.
